As a huge Jenny Packham bridalwear fan I was thrilled to see pictures of the new 2013 collection. Having tried on a number of JP dresses in preparation for my big day I can safely say, this lady has such a way of designing and cutting a gown that makes it impossible to describe the instant sense of glamour and grace you feel as the soft, sumptuous silk of one of her designs slides down your body.
Ethereal, enchanting, elegant and completely show-stopping all at the same time….there isn’t a single gown that I don’t totally love.
Packham was inspired by the vintage style of 1930′s Paris and the leading ladies of the golden age of cinema, think the Hollywood glamour of Vivien Leigh and Bette Davis mixed with a generous dose of romance and femininity. Yep – beautiful.
